Home_Lessons_vs_E_Learning_Program

#Home_Lessons_vs_E_Learning_Program Most of the State Govt of our country has directed the self financed schools not to collect the fees from the parents as long as they remain shut due to the COVID 19 pandemic with an extended insturction not to hike the fees for the academic year 2020-21.By the name of RTE Act of Section 16 ; State Govt now is trying to play cards with the School Owners of Unaided Privatley Managed Schools.Today the High Court Judgement is expected to be came out in favour of Private School Owners. Now it is time to stop the flaws from the school sides only to promote the Online Learning Service in Schools. Now , The tussle is ON; and this time, I would like us to settle this matter diplomatically. Seriously, I am one of those few who is excited about the e-Learning development. That is why most of my writings have been on how schools can profitably sustain the program at various levels. Seriously, after my last writings on "How to increase the interest of Parent...

LEADERSHIP SERIES-Taking Over An Existing Organisation.

LEADERSHIP SERIES-Taking Over An Existing Organisation. When taking over, as a new leader you must understand that people will change their behavior to accommodate you. What you see might not be the reality you are going to be stuck with in your entire leadership journey. First Win Their Hearts The time you spend with people and the actions you display will compel people to offer you their hearts. When you win people’s hearts, you have won their support.Their support means they have built trust in you and they are confident of your leadership. Stick To The Blue Print. Yours is not to start anything but to implement everything already written. People follow and support a vision, but remember every vision is connected to a person. Things To Take Note Of: 1.Genuinely forgive everyone who was hurting your leader. 2.Hold no grudge on those who were undermining when you were still serving your leader. 3.Acknowledge everyone’s contribution to the work and promise to love them all. 4.Avoid peop...

Look at what you need today

Screen your groups and connections and distance yourself from dreamers.  Brokers and middle men are better than dreamers. These dreamers can be principals, end receivers, end senders, agents or even lawyers. You know why? Because there is no institution in any university where this trade is taught in the whole world except within this our small but mighty market. Some of them are hiding under their little pathetic knowledge or acquisition. It could be only one account they own which they use to try to suppress you into speeding off with them from your track to their track or it could be they are loading credit card and they claim they are end sender then using that little liverage to be driving you right and left with ambiguous promises that they will help you make billions .  They are the ones sucking your energy to survive this period not the other way round but they make you feel you need their help to survive just to use you feed their ego. Some have only one genuine swift...

THE_FOUR_EMERGENT_NON_NEGOTIABLES_FOR_SCHOOLS

It is no longer news that the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced institutions / schools to adopt an “Emergency Remote Learning Programme”.  As you read the post below, consider these questions: 👉 What platform(s) will our school put in place to make learning more effective and holistic?  👉 How will our school prepare today's learners to be excellent leaders in the future?  Although many people that I know that are parents, change their views on schools, I think mine has been reaffirmed in what I believe is essential.  So after when the lockdown is lifted (in the post COVID-19 era): 1. Schools should deliberately be a welcoming and warm environment : - As someone who goes into schools often, I can get a feeling of the culture within a few minutes. Whether it is talking to the Secretary or Management or Principals, or seeing what is on the walls when I walk into the building, the culture permeates through all pores of the building. In my own experience as a...

THERE IS NO GREATER TEACHER THAN OUR LAST MISTAKE!

♻ There is no greater teacher than our last mistake or strained experience.....  Setting both professional and personal boundaries is one of the most important ways in which we love and honour ourselves and make it possible to be more authentic.  1. When ever a relationship or situation makes you whine, complain,  become angry or resentful... It's a clear indication that a healthy boundary needs to be set. Reflect on what course of action is needed and what needs to be avoided.  2. Set the boundaries clearly,  without anger,  with the fewest words possible,  without the need to justify, rationalize, argue or apologize. Stay firm,  calm,  clear and respectful.  3. You cannot take care of the boundaries and the feelings of another person at the same time. You also have no need to pay attention to the other person's reaction to your boundaries. Communicate in actions and let go.  4. You will for sure feel guilty, embarrassed, selfish a...

Not interested on online class

This may be a painful note for all of you but you have to realize one fact that nobody is interested in the online class. Teachers are not satisfied with the online class as they have been working for the last four months without salary. Some are getting 50% of the salary whereas a majority getting nothing except self-satisfaction. Parents are not satisfied since they are not interested to pay the monthly fee. School managements are running these classes unwillingly as they get meagre monetary benefit from it. Students look at it with a dubious mind as the government has not clarified whether they have to follow it compulsorily to qualify the exams or to get promoted to the next class. Different state governments have different views on it. Gujarat government woke up after three months of online classes by the private schools and asked the schools who had informed them to start the syllabus without starting the academic session. Rajasthan government also has a similar view and both the...

Art of communication

Communication can be a skill as well as competency which can make or break an individual.  Without this skill, one is impotent in finding social connections to sell a product, to get a job, in throwing an impression or  to attract the clients or customers. Communication skill is a charismatic flavour in one's personality. Sometimes, a well dressed, good featured and highly qualified person loses his/her whole impression due to bad communication. In education, all such skill should come on top priority with academics.  Many meritorious students leave the school with their nice pics on school boards due to passing out with flying colors but unfortunately they can't face even a group of four people. Sometimes a person avoids others unnecessarily just because he/ she  can't converse confidently with  someone.  So we call them communication gaps which are highly unhealthy in relations, jobs or families. For a good communication, one should have a good  eye ...

Unsung Immortal Guru

Unsung IMMORTAL Guru   “They plan during night, teach during day, evaluate in afternoon and report in the evening-they are GURUS” Word Teacher or master don’t convey any deep meaning but the term “GU-RU” definitely has. GU means darkness and RU means Light. Hence, Guru is an authority which takes us from darkness of ignorance towards knowledge and empowers us with the power of speech and choice. Like a candle teacher melts themselves to illuminate our world.  25th March, 2020 when Lockdown was announced country was shut and all the operations were suspended. All the governments, bureaucrats, entrepreneurs and corporates were bewildered. By and large every segment of society rejuvenated. The most quick to respond to this situation was TEACHERS. Schools were also closed, but Teaching-Learning continued unabated. Teachers came out of their comfort Zones so that students’ don’t suffer. Even the last teacher on this planet, updated themselves overnight.  Not having any id...

changes make us happy after 40

"A friend of mine turned into 40. I asked him what's changing? He sent me following lines." Yes, I am changing.  After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, now I have started loving myself. Yes, I am changing.  I just realised that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders. Yes, I am changing.  I now stopped bargaining with vegetables & fruits vendors. After all, a few rupees more is not going to burn a hole in my pocket but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees. Yes, I am changing.  I pay the taxi driver without waiting for the change. The extra money might bring a smile on his face. After all he is toiling much harder for a living than me. Yes, I am changing.  I stopped telling the elderly that they've already narrated that story many times. After all, the story makes them walk down the memory lane & relive the past. Yes, I am changing.  I've learnt not to correct pe...

Being Emotionally and Mentally Strong.Remember: What doesn't break you only makes you stronger!

Being " tough" here doesn't mean being physically strong or emotionally aggressive. It means being mature and smart enough to weather the challenges that life sends your way." Being Mentally and Emotionally Tough Overcome life's challenges, no matter how big or small they may seem!   As you grow older you realise that moving through stages in life sometimes means facing all sorts of challenges you weren't prepared for. People who have overcome such ordeals often say that what helped them the most was the fact that they were emotionally stable and mentally tough. What is "tough"? "Emotionally stable" here means being in touch with your emotions, that you recognize what you feel. It also means that you know how to avoid whatever makes you feel uncomfortable or awkward, so that you're able to step away unharmed. Being "tough" here doesn't mean being physically strong or emotionally aggressive. It means being mature and smart...

Creative Learning skills

Creativity Learning skill  #$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$# In the words of Thomas Edison,  genius is 1℅ inspiration and 99℅  perspiration. Nothing comes your way without sweating.   A mindful practice of first three learning skills- critical thinking, collaboration, communication incorporate  students' abilities in unleashing their potentials towards productive discourses, debates and expressions that eventually leads them in generation of some innovative ideas.  This can be in form of imagination, visualization, transformational and explorational.  There are four types of creativity. 1) Preparation 2) Incubation 3) Illumination 4) Verification.   Creativity is the formation of ideas which are though surprising, yet intelligible and makes sense for others. It is to let go of uncertainties by giving a kick start to the brain which gets ready to break all established patterns and steps towards novelty and uniqueness. All four Cs given above are compl...
